Issue: users want more levels of comment hierarchy to reply to and track replies to specific people.

Possible solution: add more levels of reply and more possible child comment levels in the database.

Just don't make it like Twitter. Their comments are overly nested and it's easy to get lost and lose sight of the original posts.
